Revival

A full-blown, Holy Spirit-led revival has been happening at a college not far from where I live. It has been amazing to hear how it has unfolded. It wasn’t planned. No human preparation took place to make it happen. It was inspired by the Holy Spirit, and it has gone on for two weeks now. 24/7, the chapel is full. The Word of God is being read. Worship is taking place. Lives are being changed!

As I’ve thought about this amazing thing God is doing, it’s made me pause to ask myself: How many times have I missed the supernatural revival the Holy Spirit wants to do in my heart? How many times have I missed His movement or quenched His Spirit because I’m busy or distracted by other things?

Friends, we must keep our hearts soft and permeable to His leading. We must leave time and space in our lives for HIm to move us. We must be flexible to drop our plans to follow after Him!

Are we ready to do that today?

I don’t know about you, but if the Holy Spirit wants to do something in my life, I am down for it! I do not want to miss Him move!

Holy Spirit, please fall fresh on us today! May we listen for your voice and respond immediately when You ask us to move. You are what we long for, God. You are the One we worship and adore! Please create a revival in my heart and draw me ever closer to You! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
