A Declaration for Hope

That trial that you're walking through right now, the one that threatens to steal your joy and overwhelm you? God will use it! I promise He doesn't let anything go to waste. That doesn't mean this season is easy or pleasant. That doesn't mean we can't cry out to Him in our sorrow and pain. In fact, He wants us to press into Him and lay our hearts before Him.

But, even in our sorrow, we can trust that He is good and that He sees us. We can cling to that hope because His Word declares it! "We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 (HCSB)

We may not like or understand our current circumstances, but we can hold on to the hope that He will use whatever we're walking through for our good. Keep your gaze on His face and press into Him today, dear friend!

Father, I don't understand this trial. It is so hard. Please, be my hope and my strength. Please draw me near to You. I pray that You will use this difficult season for good; don't let me miss what You want to teach me in this trial. I love and trust You, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.
